The Mars Volta

Filed under: Live Shows, Progressive Rock — toolband @ 1:49 am

Tool is Maynard, Justin, Adam, Danny aka The Greatest Living Rock Band!

Tool is currently on tour and selling out arenas across America!

Another great live band is The Mars Volta!  Each show has produced sets showcasing the new w/ some older classics.

The classics have included Stinkfist, 46&2, Schism, and a blistering version of Sober with Adam on playing lead w/ a talkbox. But what would a new tour be without new material. Almost every show has opened with Lost Keys (Blame Hoffman) and then gone into Rosetta Stoned, Jambi, Right in Two and then culminated with Vicarious. Jambi and Right in Two are definite highlights while Vicarious is sandwiched in between the epic Lateralus and Aenema – needless to say it is hard for Vicarious to stand out, but the band certainly try as hard as they can. If you haven’t seen a show yet this outing, please do yourself a favor and see one of the greatest living bands perform. Tool’s songs are complimented by a superb visual stage show created by long-time collaborator Alex Grey.

  2. I have been a Fan of Tool for years now and am looking forward to seeing them live, i hear that they are selling out fast and you may have to buy tickets on the secondary market. I found a site that sells them http://WWW.Ugotickets.com I looked for cheaper prices but almost every site that I have seen has more or less the same price. I want to buy good tickets and am willing to pay but I also want to get them as cheap as possible. Thanks

  3. Hey Nathan! Thanks for the tip on http://www.ugotickets.com – I bought 8 sets of Tool tickets for their LA show, and the seats were great, the price was fair for such seats, and their site was easy to use. I also reccommend them to anyone needing any kind of tickets!
